Project Description


Dr. Gupta is a licensed MD and a nutritional/environmental medicine specialist who heads an international medical consulting business. Dr. Gupta graduated from the School of Medicine at The University of Queensland Australia. He completed his residency at both public and private hospitals, serving as cardiology, medical and anesthetic registrar. He has extensive experience in critical care, including complex post-cardiac surgery patients.

Dr. Gupta received specialized training in integrative medicine, and was awarded a Fellowship of the Australasian College of Nutritional and Environmental Medicine in 2008 and a Fellowship of the Australian College of General Practitioners in 2010. In 2014, Dr. Gupta became the first international physician certified in the Shoemaker protocol treating mold illness and Chronic Inflammatory Response Syndrome (CIRS). He currently is completing physician training with the International Lyme and Associated Disease Society.

Dr. Gupta works closely with FDN in the creation of curriculum and course modules. He currently serves as an FDN Medical Director.

Exposure and experience attained in oncology and pallliative care, intensive and coronary care, orthopaedics, cardiology (TPCH) and haematology, Furtherexperience in emergency medicine (QEII). Rural term at St George relievingcircuit.


(Jan – July) Gained exposure to endocrinology and rheumatology. Further experience in general medicine.


(July – Jan) Specialist experience gained in tertiary cardiology, including coronary care and care of acute cardiological emergencies.


(Jan – July) Specialist experience in clinical anaesthesia of elective and emergency surgery and intensive care of medical and post-operative patients.

(July – Jan) Further experience in coronary care, medical registrar relief, intensive care and emergency medicine.

Became an integral part of a private intensive care team. Duties primarily involving care of cardiac surgical patients, other intensive care patients and assessing acute emergencies on ward.

(Jan – July) Basic General Practice term with good exposure to a wide range of general practice problems including minor surgical experience.


(July – Jan) Advanced General Practice term with aan emphasis on occupational health care women’s health and orthopaedics.

Experience in a peripheral metropolitan general practice setting with wide range of presentations, from paediatric, obstetric to geriatric care.

Specializing in chronic disease management, prevention and metabolic optimization.

Integrative medicine practice focusing on treatment of chronic multisystem disease including tick-borne disorders.

Wide experience in Intensive Care and general RMO duties in Brisbane and Sunshine Coast hospitals. Expert at dealing with emergencies and liasing with visiting medical officers and patients in an effective and prompt manner.
